(Photo Courtesy: MP George Koimburi speaking while in hospitals)  Juja MP George Koimburi has finally spoken out following his alleged abduction in Kenya on 25 May 2025, which left him hospitalised and raised national security concerns. Speaking from his hospital bed, the Juja legislator shared what happened.  “I had just left a church service at the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya when I was attacked. Unknown men blindfolded me and used something through my nose which knocked me out,” Koimburi said. The Kenyan MP said he was unconscious for hours and only woke up the next day. “When I regained consciousness, I found myself in a coffee plantation.  A boda boda rider helped me and contacted my family, who rushed me to hospital,” he explained. Koimburi denied staging the abduction, dismissing rumours that the incident was politically motivated. “What I went through was real and terrifying.
