(Photo Courtesy: Governor George Natembeya)  Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has announced plans to return all state honours previously awarded to him. This decision follows ongoing corruption allegations and court appearances, which he says have stained the meaning of those honours. Which Awards Is He Giving Back? Natembeya is set to return the Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS) and Elder of the Burning Spear (EBS), both given for distinguished public service. He explained that these awards had lost their value due to the corruption charges he now faces. > “How can I carry the title of a state honouree while being paraded in court over corruption allegations? It makes no sense,” he told Citizen Digital. He added that the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) even took away the medals during a raid at his Kitale home. Was He Denied a New Honour? (Photo Courtesy: Karen Nyamu in past Event)  Nairobi Senator Karen Nyamu has stirred up political waters once again, this time by taking aim at leaders who constantly involve President William Ruto in their political feuds. Her comparison, though unorthodox, has gained traction on social media where many have weighed in, some supporting her stance and others questioning her tone. During the event in Uasin Gishu County, Sudi handed out goods worth Ksh45 million, including 100 motorcycles, 400 sewing machines, 500 car wash machines, maize milling equipment, milk cans, and water tanks.  He also led a fundraiser that raised Ksh100 million for local development. Sudi claimed the money came from personal sources, not public funds. However, Maina raised serious concerns, asking why leaders were spending such large amounts on donations while key sectors like education were in crisis.  “Ksh145 million donations, yet free education is where we draw the line,” she said. Her comments came shortly after Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba told Parliament that only...
