What began as a medical emergency quickly spiralled into a nightmare. New CCTV footage has blown open the mysterious death of tech entrepreneur Dr. Susan Njoki, sending a wave of horror across Kenya.
The 38-year-old CEO of Toto Touch died on July 15 under suspicious circumstances. While her death was initially linked to a health crisis, pathologists later confirmed it was a case of homicide. Susan had been strangled. The autopsy, carried out at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, ruled out natural causes. What’s more haunting is how she ended up at the hospital in the first place.
Investigations now reveal that four individuals, dressed as medics from Chiromo Hospital, abducted Susan from her home without any medical call being made. These impostors—allegedly arranged by her husband, Alois—administered forced injections as she pleaded for help. A domestic worker witnessed the ordeal but was powerless to intervene.
After being driven to Chiromo Rehab, Susan was reportedly injected again before being pronounced dead. A voice recording from her phone has since surfaced, capturing her terrified final moments. “I’m on my period,” she’s heard saying, pleading for dignity and care that never came.
Even before the autopsy, Alois allegedly attempted to bypass her family and authorise procedures alone. Investigators believe this was a ploy to suppress evidence.
Police have named three suspects, including a hospital staffer who vanished soon after Susan’s death. Alois is under active investigation as the prime suspect behind what authorities now call a calculated murder.
The case has ignited public fury online, with Kenyans demanding justice and transparency. As detectives dig deeper, questions mount around who else may have been involved—and what secrets Chiromo Hospital is yet to reveal.
